    Car was very clean and acceptable. However, the charges were not explained in enough detail. On returning home, we then realised that this was a very expensive transaction and not good value for money as had appeared when we booked. The Flexi Fuel policy is misleading. The cost to use it, including Airport Charges and Tax was 32.91 Euros. That is on top of the fuel that you use. This was not explained to us properly when we collected the car.

    First let me explain how important is to follow the procedures. At the time of picking up the car, our agents will always give customers a check out sheet with all the damages the car had previously. We always ask customers to have another look at the car and to mark the damages that we could have missed or that the car may have received while it was parked. This sheet has to be signed again by our agents.

    Aber der Reifen wurde bei Übergabe des Wagens an mich bereits als defekt im Protokoll vermerkt und von mir fotografiert. Ich habe den defekten Reifen selber gesehen und den Vermerk im Protokoll. Goldcar bezahlt das Geld nicht zurück und das ist Betrug und in meinen Augen kriminell. Ich muss jetzt zum Rechtsanwalt. Hände weg von dieser Firma!

An investigation is opened and, if the customer service team can't find any evidences that the car already had this damage, they charge the customer.

    They have an easy to use website; the cheapest prices, and first-rate staff. Picking up my car at Jerez airport is always the best part of my trip. I have travelled a lot lately; I can thoroughly recommend these guys.

    customer service agent just hung up the phone on me. I called to extend by 2 hours the drop off time and he told me that had to go physically to a Goldcar office. nearest one is 40 km away!! he would not do it on the phone. crazy!
